The Refugee Bank and refugee payments project by the Digital Finance Institute took centre stage at SWIFT’s Sibos 2015 Conference in Singapore as part of the Innotribe session on financial inclusion and social banking.
Sam Maule and Christine Duhaime presented the Institute’s project to attendees of the Innotribe portion of the Conference, attended by more than 7,000 global bankers.
The Refugee Bank project was also featured in this news article at Sibos 2015 that identified the banking issues for refugees and migrants.
The Refugee Bank was included as part of Sibos Issues on Refugee Banking.
Innotribe’s “What Society Wants” was beautifully captured by a Storify created by Swift’s Audrey Rase here.
