Tony Zhou graduated from the University of Toronto, with a high distinction Honor in the Bachelor of Science where he double majored in Mathematics and Statistics. During his undergraduate studies, Tony was rewarded for his high academic achievements when he was recognized as a University of Toronto Dean’s List Scholar and listed on the Mathematical and Computational Sciences Honor Roll. He is currently pursuing two separate master’s degrees: applied mathematics at York University and financial engineering at Schulich School of Business.


As the financial expert of the Financial Intelligence Unit at Einstein Exchange, Tony is responsible for the financial recovery of proceeds of crime. To this date, Tony has successfully recovered 52 Bitcoins, and hundreds of other altcoins, with a total worth over half a million dollars. He also specializes in Blockchain tracing and criminal investigations, where he monitors and reports on suspicious transactions and activities to law enforcement and governing authorities. Tony is also an integral member of the planning committee for DFI, where he helped host the Blockchain for Business Event in 2018.
