The Digital Finance Institute is pleased to announce the winners of the 4^th Annual Canadian FinTech & AI Awards, which were announced at a sold out Awards Gala Ceremony.

The Canadian FinTech and AI Awards honour and recognize banks, innovators, investors, advisory firms and law firms, FinTechs, impactors and thought leaders across Canada in the financial technology and artificial intelligence space. This year’s Awards Gala Ceremony was held on November 26, 2018, in Toronto and was attended by over 550 people in financial services from across Canada. The MC of the Gala Awards Ceremony was Geoff Cher from Wildeboer Dellelce LLP and Award presenters included Nobel Prize Winner Arthur McDonald, Chairman of Difference Capital Michael Wekerle, PayPal Canada President Paul Parisi and Real Housewives of Toronto Star and FinTech CEO Ann Kaplan.

An independent judging committee of 40 experts determined the recipients of the Awards.

“The FinTech & AI Awards recognize ground breaking innovation in the financial services sector in Canada, and the service companies that support the delivery of FinTech and AI excellence,” said Ellis Odynn, the CEO of the Awards Gala Dinner.

Canada’s Prime Minister, The Right Honourable Justin Trudeau, prepared remarks for the 4^thAnnual Canadian FinTech and AI Awards and The Mayor of Toronto, John Tory opened the Awards Gala Dinner.
